"Merlin's old spectacles!" Hagrid slapped his thigh with a loud smack, startling Fang. "Sophia! You clever little thing! Why didn't I think o' that!"

他激动地在屋子里踱步，巨大的身躯让地板都在呻吟：“对啊！对啊！弗立维教授上次还问我有没有多余的独角兽尾毛，说他的库存快用完了！禁林里那几只独角兽可喜欢在松针堆里打滚了，每次滚完都掉不少毛！还有巴克比克（或其他生物），它换羽期掉的羽毛，那光泽多漂亮啊！庞弗雷夫人总抱怨白鲜和龙肝精贵……要是能用这些自然掉的东西换点钱，给小家伙们买点更好的饲料或者玩具……” 海格越想越兴奋，眼睛亮得像灯泡。

He paced excitedly, his large frame making the floorboards groan: "Yeah! Yeah! Professor Flitwick asked me jus' last week if I had any spare unicorn tail hairs, said his stock was runnin' low! Them unicorns in the Forest love rollin' in the pine needles, shed loads o' hair each time! An' Buckbeak (or other creature), the feathers it sheds during moltin' season, so shiny! Madam Pomfrey's always complainin' 'bout the price o' Dittany an' Dragon Liver... If we could trade these naturally shed bits for a bit o' gold, get the creatures better feed or toys..." Hagrid got more and more animated, his eyes shining like bulbs.

"First, you must NEVER disturb, harm, or force any creature just to get materials! Only collect what they naturally shed and drop! Pluckin' feathers or scrapin' scales is out o' the question!"

“第二，收集时要非常小心！有些东西可能有危险，比如火灰蛇的鳞片很烫，泡泡豆荚的汁液会起泡！不懂的、不确定的，一定要先问我！安全第一！”

"Second, be extra careful when collectin'! Some things can be dangerous, like Ashwinder scales are hot, Bubotuber pus causes boils! If you don't know, if you're not sure, ask me first! Safety first!"

“第三，收集来的东西，怎么卖、卖给谁，得听我的！我知道哪些商人可靠，不会坑我们，也不会把这些东西用在坏地方！卖的钱，” 海格大手一挥，“你拿大头！七成！你更需要钱。剩下三成，就当给小家伙们改善伙食和买玩具的基金了！”

"Third, how we sell the stuff, who we sell it to, that's up to me! I know which traders are reliable, won't cheat us or use this stuff for bad things! The money," Hagrid waved a large hand, "you take the lion's share! Seventy percent! You need it more. The other thirty, that's for the creatures' better feed and toy fund!"

索菲亚听完海格的条件，心中狂喜！她最担心的安全问题海格都考虑到了，而且分成的比例远超她的预期！

"Of course! I promise! Hagrid, thank you! Thank you so much!" Sophia agreed immediately, her heart leaping with joy. Hagrid's conditions addressed her biggest safety concerns, and the profit split was far better than she'd hoped!

“当然！我保证！海格，谢谢您！太谢谢您了！” 索菲亚立刻答应，用力点头，小脸上洋溢着激动和感激的红晕，“我绝对遵守您的规矩！安全第一！只收集自然脱落的！不懂就问您！”

"I absolutely will follow your rules! Safety first! Only collect natural shed! Ask if unsure!"

“好！那就这么说定了！” 海格高兴地哈哈大笑，震得屋顶的灰尘又簌簌落下，“以后你就是我的‘神奇生物副产品首席收集官’了！哈哈哈！来，先尝尝我刚烤好的、加了双倍糖霜的岩皮饼庆祝一下！”

"Good! That's settled then!" Hagrid laughed heartily, shaking more dust from the rafters. "From now on, you're me 'Chief Collector o' Magical Creature By-Products'! Hahaha!
